5th jubilee edition of Moondance festival in Trogir
DATE: 09.08.2017.
TYPE: Announcements
AUTHOR:, Josip Ostojic

The fifth jubilee edition of Moondance festival will be held from August 10th to 12th, when, under the moonlight, will host some of the biggest names of electronic dance music: Robert Hood (USA), Oscar Mulero (SPA), Jonas Kopp (ARG) , Psych (SPA), Dj Deep (FRA), Ben Sims (UK), Handmade (Ger), The Analogue Cops live (Ger) and many others who will support award-winning regional names such as Petar Dundov, Jan Kinčl live, Insolate, Forest People and others.

Moondance every year becomes more and more attended and interesting. It's one of the most interesting electronic music festivals in an very rich festival offer of the Adriatic coast.

As with previous years, Moondance is taking up residence at a 15th-century castle Kamerlengo on the UNESCO protected island city of Trogir. As well as the main arena, the fun spills onto the water via boat parties and spreads amongst the Renaissance, Baroque and Romanesque buildings of the municipality.

The quality and popularity of the festival have been recognized by the foreign media and agencies (Forbes, Pulse, The Spaces), so Moondance is praised as one of the few best European destination for the festival, which is not surprising considering that it is held in a beautiful medieval fortress Kamerlengo, which had a defensive role in the past, and during the festival will have role to provide visual and sound magic moments that will visitors remember for a long time.

This have also been noticed by the city's authorities who have included the festival in Trogir's cultural summer, realizing that Moondance is the most significant event for the promotion of Unesco's city beyond the Croatian borders.
