On the surface size twice larger than last year, from Matejuška to Banovina, more than 150 boats have been introduced to visitors, including more than 30 Croatian premiers and 300 brands that will be available to see till Sunday the 15th of April. With 20 years long tradition this international nautical fair has been imposed as a recognizable brand of Croatian nautical industry and an unavoidable event for all lovers of ships and sailing at the beginning of the sailing season. , Director of the Fair, said that after a several years of stagnation he can finally declares that crisis ended up and he thanks everyone who helped.
On the oppening ceremony Mayor of Split Mr. Andro Krstulovic Opara
congratulates the organizer for the persistence all of these years, which contributed that Split is not only a tourist than also a business center.
Today we truly can feel the market growing and we will have nothing to be ashamed of, Split is slowly returning to the global nautical map. This year’s fair will sport completely new pontoons and exhibitor tents, while the special ferry will host the Yacht Club, a space of 800 square meters with daily music and other entertainment programs, while visitors will also be able to enjoy gastronomy delicacies made by the foremost Croatian chefs.
At the last day of the Show main attraction will be the Yachts Parade, an evening parade of the best boats on the Show.
