02.06.2020. | Interesting news from tourism
Leading American business magazine Forbes has published a list of the 20 Safest Places For Travel And Tourism Post-Coronavirus which features three Croatian destinations.

According to the Leading American business magazine Forbes, among the 20 safest and best European destinations for post-corona travel and tourism activity, as many as three Croatian destinations are listed, namely Zagreb, Cavtat and Rijeka, said Ina Rodin, director of the CNTB Office in New York. An article published on Forbes states that the European Best Destination Organization (EBD) has singled out 20 European destinations least affected by the corona virus, which it proposes as suitable destinations for travel in the coming months.

As a number of nations start opening up their borders to tourists, holidaymakers around Europe have a number of factors this summer to take into consideration after the coronavirus pandemic.

Thanks to the good epidemiological situation in Croatia, where over 92% of people infected with Covid-19 have recovered and only 66 active cases, Croatia is at the top of the list for sun-seekers this summer from around Europe.

“Summer holidays to Europe could be back on next month via “air bridges,” reports The Sun.

To help holidaymakers decide where is safe to travel to, Forbes has published European Best Destinations list of 20 destinations least affected by Covid-19 (defined as up to 600 times fewer Covid-19 cases).

“Croatia is among the European countries least affected by coronavirus with up to 20 times fewer infected people per million inhabitants than in other European countries. Croatia is also one of the European countries with the highest number of hospital beds per inhabitant,” EBD writes.
