Tourist season extended in Southern Dalmatia
DATE: 13.10.2016.
TYPE: Excursions and Activities
AUTHOR: Josip Ostojić

Last weekend we visited Ston (including Walls of Ston) and the island of Mljet. At Mljet we spent two pleasant days, among other locations we have visited the National Park. Despite the bad weather forecast for Sunday, during all two days we had sunny and perfect weather, and the sea is still suitable for swimming with temperatures between 21-23 C.

What is interesting and worthy of note is extending of the tourist (post)season in October. So Ston and The Walls of Ston were filled with tourists, and in the western part of Mljet, where is The National Park, many walking tour groups are visible, mostly from Germany, Slovenia, England and Croatia.

As we informed the hotel Odisej, which until a few years ago closed its doors by the end of Semptember, will work till the end of October with full capacity.

Prošli vikend posjetili smo Ston (Stonske zidine) i otok Mljet.
