Croatia // South Dalmatia // South-Dalmatia islands
Visiting South Dalmatia would be incomplete without a visit to one of the southern Dalmatian islands. They include Korčula, Mljet, Lastovo and the Elaphite Islands.
Korcula is, after Mljet, perhaps the greenest island, full of olive orchards and vineyards. South side of the island is rich with hidden beaches and sea caves.
Mljet is the most beautiful and most forested island. Olive groves, vineyards and rich forests are ideal for exploring the rich flora and fauna and to peacefully enjoy the beauty of unspoiled nature.
If you want to enjoy the peace and quiet in the immediate vicinity of Dubrovnik, visit one of the Dubrovnik Elafiti Islands, famous for its olive groves, old pine forests and beautiful beaches.
