Rafting as a mode of transport up and down waterways also has a long tradition
in Croatia. However, white-water rafting as a modern form of adventure began only in the
late 1980s, and served to attract notice to the amazing beauty of Croatian rivers, which
up until that time was known only to relatively few kayaking adventurers and fishermen
- Duration of the rafting trip: between 3 and 4 hours. - Departure times:
Everyday at 9am and 2pm from Omis during the summer season 1.04.-1.10. -
Safety equipment: Lifejackets, helmets and paddles are provided. Wetsuits are
available during cooler or wet weather- available in a variety of sizes (XS,
S, M, L, XL,XXL). - What you need to bring rafting: runners/sports shoes
or water shoes, bathers and/or tshirt and shorts to wear during rafting as
well as a spare change of dry clothes to change into once rafting has
finished,a towel and sunscreen. - Rafting photos: We have a professional
waterproof digital camera that is used to take rafting photos. A photographer
will travel with the group throughout the rafting adventure. The photographer
will take photos of the most interesting rafting locations throughout your
trip. A Cd with photos of your rafting trip will be available to purchase
after the rafting trip. Each cd has approximatley 150 photos. CD's cost 50
kuna (7 euros)
- Additional information: rafting is suitable for
everyone from 7-77 years of age. No experience is neccessary. rafting is
suitable for all levels of fitness. It is neccessary to book your rafting
trip 1-5 days in advance.
