The Island Brac is the largest island of the central Dalmatian islands and the third largest among the Adriatic islands. Composed primarily of limestone and dolomite, the quarries of the island of Brac have been a source of stone for building decorative stoneworks for centuries. The Romans have known its quality and used this very stone to build cities, amphitheaters, temples, palaces and graves all over Dalmatia.
Higher parts of the island are at some places covered with black and Aleppo pine forests. Thus this unique island offers everything one needs for an unforgettable holiday in an unspoiled natural enviroment, rich cultural and historic heritage that dates back to pre-historic times, unique gastronomy, beautiful beaches and bays, crystal blue sea, a perfect opportunity for exploration.
This tour offers a walk around the west part of the Island, on request of assistance there is a specialised guide, lunch of Dalmatian speciality and seafood and transfer to the start point from either your boat, Split, Brač and Hvar
