Nature park Lake Vrana
Start point: Biograd na Moru
Vrana Lake and its stunning surroundings have been declared a national Nature Park. The park limits are between Pirovac and Pakoštane stretching across 57km with 30km being the lake area itself, which flows in the north-west direction parallel to the sea coast. The lake is a karst valley filled with salty water. The dominating characteristic of the park is its special Ornithological reserve, array of bird species.
The bike route starts from Biograd to Pakoštane then we reach the nature park 'Vrana'. The trail goes all the way up to the view point called Kamenjak on a 260 meters high hill. The climb is rewarded by a stunning view of lake Vrana and the islands of Kornati and the archipelago of Zadar, after which we will head back to Biograd taking a great decent all the way down to the hotel.
