The Historic Railroad Trail with steam locomotives passes from Mostar alongside Neretva river all the way across the border with Croatia, ending in Dubrovnik.
The construction of this trail started in 1898 and ended in 1901.
Today this trail is reconstructed into a cycling track.
The excursion starts with a visit to the famous Vjetrenica cave, the largest and most important cave in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The visit to the cave is followed by cycling from Zavala to Ivanica and stopping on various resting spots and observation posts.
A break for lunch is made in Ivanica, where we can try the tastes of local cuisine.
After replanishing the energy we are continuing our trip by crossing the border with Croatia and cycling towards Dubrovnik city.We are ending this excursion in Dubrovnik.
