In 13th century this area is under the Crusaders and afterwards marked by Turk presence.
The castle of Jerusalem is situated in one rich Arboretum with exotic plants. The wine road starts in Ormož. On the road between Jerusalem and Svetinje there is Zidanica Malek, the old construction from 17th century, used for the wine production. This area is particularly famous for its amazing landscapes, hills and wine yards.
