Postojna Cave is the best-known cave in the world. It is also the greatest tourist attraction in Slovenia and one of the world's largest karst monuments. Many books and other contributions have been written about Postojna Cave; speaking of tourist guides regarding the cave itself, almost 100 have been produced over 200 years. Comprised of a fantastic web of tunnels, passages, galleries and halls, the astonishing diversity of Karst features as well as easy access it is the only cave with a double track railway. For 140 years, the Postojna Cave, as the only cave in the world, offers a unique and adventurous ride with a special train, which will take you into the cave, under spectacular underground arches, which are embellished with chandelier look-alike stalactites, through a beautiful subterranean world full of limestone sculptures.

- Predjama castle:
A mere few kilometres from Postojna Cave, the Karst world offers an unforgettable experience in the fairytale world of knights. The impregnable medieval marvel has been perched in the middle of a 123-metre-high cliff for more than 800 years. Behind the largest cave castle in the world, there is a network of secret tunnels, from where the knight Erazem of Predjama would set out on his plundering expeditions. The Cave under Predjama Castle is the home of a colony of bats.
The Vivarium is located in the Passage of New Signatures, fifty metres from the entrance to Postojna Cave. It consists of two parts. The research part, the so-called laboratory, is used for scientific work and research. The speleobiological exhibition housed in the Vivarium's exhibition section presents the basic concepts of karstology and speleobiology, special features of the subterranean environment and the most typical representatives of our cave animals.
- The Former Regime’s Mystery:
Since it was built in 1971, Hotel Jama has accommodated millions of visitors to the world-famous Postojna Cave. But it used to be more than just an ordinary hotel. Up until 1991, the hotel had lived a double life, which was not revealed until its renovation in 2016. The secret rooms inside the hotel bear witness to the activities of the secret services of the former system and to the bygone times. Hidden deep inside the hotel building is a communications centre of a very special kind, which raises more questions than it answers.
