A description that wrote one member of Bel Ami's crew:
'Bel Ami is an old Herreshoff-designed teak and mahogany two-masted Bermuda Ketch racer built in 1931 for an Italian Admiral who commissioned it for the Newport-Nassau race. The boat is an old-style racing yacht, so it is thinner than the usual cruising boat, which means the galley and toilet/shower facilities are smaller than you'd expect, and the bunk arrangements are not as spacious. But the interior and exterior are real head-turners. Nonetheless, if you want an old-fashioned Clark Gable type of experience, the boat is a true beauty, and all who sail on it fall in love with it. It is ideal for two couples or for a family. We race it in regattas and it turns in very respectable times, even against the modern boats. When you sail into a marina, everybody walks over and stares at it.
Included in price: booking of the boat, skipper fee, fuel, final cleaning, outboard engine, linen, towels, gas, etc.
Extra charged: berth fees when you will be in marina, food and drinks
