Indulgence and fun

City of gambling
Nova Gorica is also a gambling city, with two entertainment centres and several casinos offering entertainment with top-notch gambling facilities. The friendly and exciting atmosphere is complemented by superb culinary offerings, accommodation and wellness services.

The region is famous for its many vineyards on rolling hills, world-famous wine producers, wineries, fruit growers and tourist farms, where you can enjoy both premium wines and the finest homemade food. The Brda Hills invite you to explore by car, bike or simply on foot. Visit the prominent Dobrovo Castle, Vipolže Castle and other of the numerous landmarks.

Vipava Valley
Stretching towards the east is the green wine-producing Vipava Valley. This friendly place is home to excellent wines from several indigenous varieties such as Zelen, Pinela and Klarnica, which go perfectly with the many delectable dishes of the Vipava Valley. Experience them in hospitable cellars, on ‘osmice’ (on so-called eighth days, when wine growers sell wine out of their homes) and on tourist farms, at inns, restaurants or one of the ethnological events.
