Project: Mostar Orphanage
After the Bosnian War, the government funded the reconstruction of the Mostar Orphanage. However, the work remains incomplete, and it is up to us to continue the efforts to make this orphanage ever more welcoming for the children who live there.

An interesting project if you want to improve the quality of life of wild horses. Left to themselves, they live in an area of 130 km², located at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,700 meters, in the hinterland of the Adriatic coast.

Project: Holiday Camp for Medically Recommended Children

Holiday Camp: “Fiesa”
Managed by SPOTUR Slovenj Gradec, this facility hosts schools, sports groups, and visitors. It offers a camp for children aged 5 to 14 from the municipalities of Slovenj Gradec and Mislinja, either on medical recommendation or from underprivileged families.

Project Objective:
Essential for young people with disabilities and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Social Encounters & Activities:
Moments of connection with children through games, interactions, and diverse activities, all within a warm and inclusive environment.
Work Plan:
Organized by the management based on volunteer arrival dates, with autonomy encouraged among groups.

Located 300 meters from the beach, Holiday Home Fiesa is nestled in a peaceful bay surrounded by hills and clean waters. Renowned for its green landscapes and romantic ambiance, it welcomes children, teenagers, families, and individuals. The facility offers 80 beds spread across 21 rooms (3 to 6 beds) with shared bathrooms and sea views.

Project: Camp for Youth & Scouts: Soča Valley

This camp, designed for youth, takes place in a natural setting and focuses on outdoor activities, survival skills development, and the promotion of values such as camaraderie and leadership. Organized by scout groups, it includes hiking, shelter building, team games, as well as exercises on civic responsibility and environmental protection.

Woodcraft, or the art of building with poles and assembly knots, is a central practice of scouting. It gives campers the opportunity to settle comfortably in nature during extended stays. This activity promotes collaboration, respect for the environment, and the development of practical skills, while enriching the camp experience.

Explore the most beautiful archipelago in the region, a true aromatic park. These “green islands” offer welcoming beaches for a moment of relaxation.

Cycling
Follow the “Railroad of Ciro,” a cycling route along the path of the former Austro-Hungarian railway linking the hinterland to Dubrovnik.
