Hike and discover our natural heritage:
Velebit is part of the Via Dinarica trail encompassing the largest karst field on earth. Plate tectonics have created a limestone chain that have aligned themselves over 1,000 kilometres through the heart of the western Balkans. The heart of the Dinaric Alps cuts through northern Montenegro and most of Bosnia and Herzegovina before reaching the Croatian coastlines of the Adriatic Sea. Velebit is recognized for its exceptional natural beauty and biodiversity. Zavizan is the mountains peak homing a national nature park.

The nature provides a patchwork of the most diverse habitats that are home to countless plant, fungus and animal species, a wealth that is yet to be explored in its entirety. Refined with cleaner air, water, and fertile soil matched with the landscapes favorable climate, provides the people staying or hiking the benefits of physical, mental and spiritual relaxation. The start point of the tour is on North Velebit where the trail is taken upwards towards Zavizan the mountain peak of Velebit midway the hike we will take a picnic break in nature.
