The Via Dinarica trail encompasses the largest karst field on earth. Plate tectonics have created a vertebrae-like limestone chain that have aligned themselves through the heart of the western Balkans, The Dinaric Alps cuts through the six republics of Balkans, from the territory of Slovenia to Albania, where we can also find the highest peaks of mountain. A part of this beautiful trail goes by Cetina River and town of Omis on the Adriatic coast.
