Korčula is one of the largest and most forested islands of Croatia. 65% of the island is covered by dense Mediterranean vegetation rich in pine and olive trees and various aromatic and medicinal plants, as well as a large diversity of flowers .

Main activities of the local people are fishing, shipbuilding, stone cutting, viticulture, olive and citrus cultivation and fig and almond collecting. Prospering in natural beauty the island also offers insight into a deep cultural heritage, with historical remains from different Mediterranean civilisations (prehistory, Roman, Greek and Kroatisch periods, Venetians, Austrian). Each with traces on the island's streets and alleys, landmarks such as monasteries, palaces and houses, built with local stone displaying a mosaic of different times and cultures.

The tour route takes us from town of Korčula to visit Lumbarda and the sandy beach, vineyards area, natural beauties and back. Type of terrain covered; aspfalth, village roads, unpaved road. Included is a specialised guide, however upon request there can be an arranged lunch of local sea food and transfer to meeting point from: your boat, Dubrovnik, Orebic (by boat)
