SEGET DONJI, is a village 2 km west of Trogir. Economical basis are agriculture, wine growing, fruit growing and tourism. It is on the main road (M2, E65).

History
Castel in square form,with corner towers,was built by Trogir's aristocrat Jakov Rotundo in 1564. Gotical crusifix dating from XV. century is kept in baroq church which was built in 1758, and also wooden tripthih, work of maestro Blaz Juraj Trogiranin. In Gornji Seget,5 km away,around the church of st. Vid (XII.-XIII. century) is bigger number of medivial stone boards and tomb stones. In field between Seget and Trogir there is reneissance square tower (1516) built by Trogir's family Statilic. On the hill st. Ilija, 2 km from Seget,are stone pits from which white stone was digged since roman times.
Closness of Trogir gives you opportunity to find yourself within few minutes in atmosphere full of idilic restaurants and bars with live music,where you can have a good time all night long. There are few night clubs and disco bars and casino nearby. You can experience a real Dalmatian ambient with a glass of good wine and tasty fish.
Sportsmen and people who do sports for recreation can go sailing, diving, fishing, rent a boat or yacht. Entertainment programms are held in nearby Trogir and Split. Marina in Trogir offers a great service for charter boats, while in hotels Medena and Jadran you will find sport courts for any kind of activity. All the way through Seget there is a promenade by the sea shore, few kilometers long.
