Starigrad - Paklenica

Position

Starigrad is located in the northwestern part of the Zadar County, and in northern Dalmatia. Settlements of Starigrad comunity extend along the twenty kilometers of the Adriatic coast, and above them are Velebit mountain, on whose southern slopes is National Park Paklenica. This whole area is in a protected natural environment because Velebit, together with its coast, has the status of a National Park since 1981..
