Day 2. City tour: Sarajevo
First of all we will go to the heart of Sarajevo, called Baščaršija. Each narrow street is covered with cobblestone and dedicated to a different old craft. The Bosnian traditional crafts are work with jewelry, pottery shops, and copper metalwork. The walk will continue through to the Sarajevo Cathedral of Jesus’ Sacred Heart and many other historical monuments.

This tour includes a visit to the Sarajevo Tunnel of Hope. This tunnel connected the city with the free Bosnian territory. It was the only way the citizens were able to get supplies such as food, medical help, and ammunition. The next stop is the Jewish Cemetery aka the: Sniper Alley. It is the oldest intact cemetery in the city.

Day 3. Tito´s top secret bunker
Today open to the public, this bunker was built near the BiH town of Konjic in 1953, at the request of Josip Broz Tito, in order to protect it from a possible nuclear attack. Composed of a labyrinth of homes, offices, meeting rooms and military strategy planning.

Battle Museum for the Wounded
The memorial complex in Jablanica was built on the spot where the decisive moment of the military operation took place: the Battle of the Neretva, the fateful crossing of the Neretva River and the rescue of the wounded.

Day 4. Herzegovina & Ottoman remains

Mostar is a city rich in culture, history, and architecture: the Franciscan church, the Ottoman Muslibegović house, the Dalmatian Ćorović house, and the Orthodox church, built as a gift from the Sultan. The symbol of the city is the Old Bridge, which dates back to the time of the Ottoman Empire.

We are visiting the wine route through Popovo Field, in the heart of the karst region of Herzegovina, which offers beautiful landscapes, interesting historical sites, and ancient towns: Stolac and Trebinje, while also learning about history and local traditions.

Day 6. Mount Lovćen & Mausoleum of Njegoš
Within the Lovćen National Park, a staircase of 461 steps leads us to the Mausoleum of Petar II Petrović-Njegoš, a renowned poet-philosopher, founder of Montenegro, buried in a marble sarcophagus, built at an altitude of 1800 meters.

City tour: Cetinje
Cetinje is a historical Royal Capital of Montenegro. The town is located on a small karst plain surrounded by limestone mountains, including Mt. Lovćen, the Black Mountain from which Montenegro gets its name. We will see old buildings and palaces which are today museums, libraries and art galleries.

Day 7. Boat excursion: NP Skadar Lake
Skadar Lake is the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula. The river Bojana creates a connection between Lake and the Adriatic Sea. This lake is the largest bird habitat in Europe. Surrounded by bays, capes and peninsulas, the lake also has a rich history and culture, evidenced by many archaeological sites, churches and monasteries.
