Excursion's informationsPelješac Peninsula is primarly known for its hills and slopes, and beautiful sunny vineyards. In the area around the peninsula we find wineries which offer tasting of wines made from indigenous grape varieties, including the famous Dingač and Postup.
We should also mention a number of olive groves and a very good quality of olive oil from Pelješac.
On the southern coast of the peninsula is a small place called Žuljana where we have a nice view of the sea and the island of Mljet at the opposite side.
Our cycling route will start from Žuljana through southern coast with numerous vineyards and rocky coast of the peninsula to a little place called Postup which is a home of the famous red wine from PeljeŠac of the same name.
