The Split - Dalmatia county was presented at the European Parliament in Brussels today Dalmatinski portal reports.





The occasion for this event was a quarter of a century of the County, and presentation was held at the initiative of the member of the European Parliament mr. Ivica Tolic.

On the conference their speech had prefect of the County Blaženko Boban, mayor of Split Andro Krstulović Opara, the director of the Tourist Association of Split-Dalmatia County Joško Stella, vice prefect Ante Šošić, IT Assistant Damir Brčić and Ivana Tadinac Šećer, a city administration advisor which presented the "Useful" program.

Blaženko Boban presented the County with the emphasis on the importance of the IT sector, calling it the most beautiful place in the world, while the mayor also listed the projects and presented a vision of development of the County with emphasis on the link between Solin, Klis and Kastela, as well as on the future of the Žnjan beach.

The study of the capacity of the tourism in the County was presented by Joško Stella to the conference guests.

Many other important economic and cultural subjects from the County were also presented at the conference.
