On the one of the most watched French national TV channels France 5, the popular show Des trains pas comme les autres was broadcast, watched by more than a million viewers and in which Croatia was highlighted as an interesting tourist destination, said Danijela Mihalić Đurica, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in France.

The concept of the show is designed in such a way that the host of the show Philippe Gougler travels around the world by train to present the destination in an unusual way and with the help of the locals discover all the beauties of the country he is visiting. The show about Croatia begins with a visit to Dubrovnik, which according to the host is the most beautiful city in Europe, and many interesting stories were told about the saltworks in Ston, the village of the Čigoč family, Zagreb and unique islands.

The second most important TV channel in France M6 in the show Zone Interdite, tells the story of a group of friends who chose Croatia as their destination for traveling by car. During the show, the beauty of various Croatian regions, including Istria and Dalmatia, was highlighted, and exceptional Croatian landscapes, beautiful nature and national parks were shown.

Also, one of the specialized tourist magazines, L'Echo Touristique presented Croatia as a safe and well-prepared destination, and Croatian high-quality tourist offer, richness of nature and culture, and investments in catering were presented.





The news about free vaccinations for tourists in Croatia was published by the most widely read French womens magazine Femme Actuelle, while the tourist portal Class Tourisme presented Croatia as the safest destination in the Mediterranean.





Let us add that in the previous part of the year, over 430 thousand overnight stays of French guests were realized in Croatia, which is an increase of 180 percent compared to the same period last year.
