The Višegrad tourist organization presented tourist potentials at the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, and visitors' attention was drawn to the gastronomic offer of Višegrad caterers.
Director of the Višegrad Tourist Organization Marko Božić told Srna that together with restaurateurs and hoteliers, they presented themselves at the stand of the Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska and the stand of the Olympic Center "Jahorine", which enabled greater visibility and better presentation at the fair.
"Our restaurateurs had the opportunity to establish contact with travel agencies in order to make as many arrangements as possible for the arrival of group and individual tourists to Višegrad. We have established contact with the media who will come to film tourist series about our city," said Božić.
The Mayor of Višegrad Mladen Đurević, who attended the Tourism Fair, announced the expansion of the tourist offer - the completion of a five-star hotel in Andrićgrad and the construction of the city's marina.
"The development of Višegrad as a tourist center will also be contributed by the fact that the Government, through the ``Jahorina'' Olympic Center, has taken over the management of Andrićgrad. When we connect ćuprija and Iva Andrić, Bikavac, the spa ``Vilina vlas'' and the rivers Drina and Rzav, Višegrad will be one of the most desirable places not only in Srpska, but also in the region," said Đurević.
The International Tourism Fair in Belgrade opened on Wednesday, February 22, and ended yesterday.
