On February 13,
wine connoisseurs and wine lovers will gather at the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb for the 11th edition of the En Premieur Young Malvasia Wine Tasting, organized by the association of winegrowers and winemakers of Istria, Vinistra.
Association Vinistra was the first in Croatia, 13 years ago, to organize an attractive
En Premiere event modeled on tasting new vintages in wine France. Since then, every year the owners of restaurants, wine shops, coffee bars, distributors, hoteliers, wine critics and journalists have been waiting for February in order to enjoy the company of winemakers and the Malvasias of the new vintage. A lot is always expected from these wines, because the bar has been raised very high.
Istrian winemakers will be joined this year by colleagues from Kvarner with their Žlahtins and Bregovita Croatia with autochthonous varieties of the 2022 harvest.

Traditionally, the tasting is divided into two parts, from 1 to 4 p.m. reserved exclusively for the business audience, and from 4 to 7 p.m. for the general public and wine lovers. Entrance is free, as every year, but everyone who wants to be a part of this beautiful wine story should register on the official website of the Vinistra association.
The 2022 Malvasia vintage has exceptional potential, so all those who come to the 11th En Premiere will enjoy excellent young wines. With this wine event, we opened the season of events organized by our association, including the hosting of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, a prestigious wine judging event where more than 350 wine judges and experts from all over the world will gather in Poreč in May, points out Luka Rossi, president of Vinistra , association of winegrowers and winemakers of Istria.
