Although this year is the date ASTA Destination Expo (ADE) international business events of the American Association of Travel Advisers (ASTA) postponed several times, the organizers did not give up and in constant communication with partners, finally defined the date of the event in Croatia.
This is a big thing for our tourism, because in addition to the ADE being held in Croatia for the first time, it is a b2b workshop and conference attended by over 150 agents members of the American Association of Travel Advisers.
Thus, the ADE will be held in Dubrovnik this year from June 10 to 13, 2021.
Between 150-200 tourism and travel experts from the USA will be in Croatia for the annual conference of the ASTA Association (American Society of Travel Advisors), the largest organization of travel agents in the world. The purpose is to promote Croatia as a tourist destination and to educate American agents in the sale of Croatian tourist arrangements. Also, ADE is aimed at further intensifying the tourist traffic of guests from the USA through the development and sale of complex tourist products (package arrangements, events and gatherings) in Croatia, and consists of educational, promotional and business part.
In the educational and promotional part of the event, buyers will be introduced to Croatia as a tourist destination with special emphasis on the city of Dubrovnik as the host city. The official organizer of the event is AmCro Travel, sponsors are the Tourist Board of the City of Dubrovnik and the Croatian National Tourist Board, and you can find the program of the event on the official website of ASTA.
American agents come to Croatia as early as June 03, and stay until June 20, visiting all parts of Croatia, through organized FAM trips, which are an integral part of ASTA Destination Expo 2021. More about the event at the next
